Overview
I am a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow and the Assistant Director of the Writing and Communication Program at Georgia Tech. My research and teaching explore race, representation, and access in critical pedagogy. More broadly, I work at the intersections of critical race and ethnic studies, inclusive pedagogy, and writing in and across disciplines. My service at the university involves faculty development, curriculum development, and writing program administration. I completed my PhD in English with a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities at the University of Miami in 2021. Currently, I am teaching an undergraduate honors writing course titled, "Writing Sustainability/ Writing Sustainably" which is placed at the intersections of writing and communication studies, theories of sustainability, and literary studies. Additionally, I am working as a WCP Faculty Fellow in Georgia Tech's Public Interest Technology (PIT) for First-Year Engineers Project.
I am actively looking forward to collaborating on multimodal research projects that aim to develop student-centered learning and accessible pedagogical practices in higher ed. Please find below a demo of my students' multimodal research projects.
