I came to this program to have a hands-on experience with language and media. In my time at Tech, I’ve learned how to pair these skills to engage in creative projects from geolocated stories to animation shorts to my final project—a documentary with added supplemental features containing data visualization. I was also able to work with the Atlanta Global Studies Center creating a website and producing content for The Atlanta Archivist. It’s been a rewarding experience and one that guarantees tremendous growth. The faculty at both LMC and ML have been encouraging and nurturing throughout each step of this journey, and I thank them for all their support.
