Each apprentice also receives $5,000 for program development support or to participate in a faculty development activity. The apprenticeship runs from January through June 2022.

Joining Dutta in the 2022 cohort are Kyriaki Kalaitzidou, Rae S. and Frank H. Neely Professor and associate chair of faculty development in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, and Juergen Rauleder, assistant professor of aerospace engineering and associate director of the Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence.

Dutta earned her Ph.D. in English from University of Miami in 2021, shortly before joining the Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellowship in Fall 2021.
